Spring training baseball is underway, meaning that the 2016 regular season is just around the corner. For this week's Mind Boggler, we're looking back on some of the Mets' best single-game performances by asking you to name every Met with at least five hits in a game.
Mets to collect at least five hits in a game.
It's not surprising that most of these five-hit games were clustered during the best periods of franchise history. Indeed, most of the players listed here are among the franchise's best and most recognizable. That said, there are a few more obscure names that might surprise you.
Last year was the first since 2011 that the Mets had a player collect five hits in a game. The team will certainly be expecting plenty of offensive production from that player again in 2015.
You'll have seven minutes for this quiz. Good luck, and remember to post your time and score in the comments!
