The Mets and Yankees played to a tie this afternoon in Port St. Lucie. Jacob deGrom gave up one run in three innings with a couple of strikeouts. His velocity wasn't up where it normally is, but he said that was intentional. The Mets' bullpen was mostly good behind him, but Akeel Morris allowed a run in his inning of work, and Antonio Bastardo served up two solo home runs in the ninth.

As for the Mets' hitters, Curtis Granderson had a couple of hits in his spring debut. Yoenis Cespedes and Kevin Plawecki had a couple of hits apiece, too.
