Triple-A - Las Vegas 51s (3-4)__________________________________

FRESNO 2, LAS VEGAS 1 (BOX)

With the exception of Gavin Cecchini and Roger Bernadina, no other 51 notched a hit against Brad Peacock or the trio of relievers that came into the game after him- though, there were a few walks. Andrew Barbosa was solid, as were Josh Smoker and Eric Goeddel. Dario Alvarez, pitching in the ninth, gave up a run to give the Grizzlies a walk-off victory.

Double-A - Binghamton Mets (4-2) _____________________________

BINGHAMTON 7, ERIE 3 (BOX)

The bottom of the lineup did most of the danger in last night's victory over the SeaWolves. Rob Gsellman wasn't as impressive as he was in his first start, sitting in the low 90s, but was still solid, tossing six and two thirds innings of one run ball. Binghamton took the lead in the 4th on the power of a Xorge Carillo three-run homer, and never looked back.

Advanced-A- St. Lucie Mets (6-3)______________________________

ST. LUCIE 4, BREVARD COUNTY 0 (BOX)

Thanks to a masterful performance on the part of Corey Oswalt, St. Lucie shut out the Manatees for their sixth win of the 2016 season. The right-handed tossed six shutout innings, scattering four hits and a walk while striking out nine. The People's Champion, John Mora, stole second in the 4th, prompting a throwing error that allowed Amed Rosario and himself to score, putting St. Lucie on the board. Patrick Biondi and Jhoan Urena added insurance runs on a sac fly and homer, respectively, but both were unneeded as Kevin McGowan and Josh Edgin hold down the lead, allowing no runs to score.

Low-A - Columbia Fireflies (5-3)________________________________

GREENVILLE 8, COLUMBIA 3 (BOX)

Greenville nickel-and-dimed the Colaflies for a few runs before finally getting to starter Thomas McIlraith and reliever Christian Montgomery. The duo gave up five runs in the sixth, putting Columbia in a deep hole they would be unable to dig out of. On the bright side, my guy Vinny Siena drew a walk, continuing his perfect on-base streak, my sleeper prospect pick David Thompson had another hit, giving him a hit in every game this season, and Ivan Wilson didn't strike out.
