The 51s struggles continued, as Paul Sewald blew the game in the top of the ninth after Las Vegas had tied the game in the bottom of the eighth. Dilson Herrera and Matt Reynolds each had a double, while Brandon Nimmo and Gavin Cecchini continued to be unimpressive, going 0-for-7 combined with two strikeouts. On the pitching side, Rafael Montero was solid and Dario Alvarez struck out the side in his inning of work, but Erik Goeddel and Zach Thornton both struggled.

Binghamton scored three runs early and never looked back, topping Erie in the finale of their three game set. Victar Cruzado hit a home run and walked twice, while journeyman DH Niuman Romero contributed three hits and two doubles. Dominic Smith had a hit and a walk but also struck out three times. Mickey Jannis's knuckleball was wild, leading to five walks, but he limited the damage over four-and-a-third innings and the bullpen didn't allow a run.

Wuilmber Becerra continued to hit well, knocking another two singles, and Jhoan Urena had a two run triple and scored on an erant throw. Amed Rosario and Champ Stuart both went hitless.

Vinny Siena kept his hot hitting going with another two hits, but Columbia fell to Greenville anyway on Sunday. Joe Shaw and Craig Missigman both struggled, and the offense was fairly quiet for the majority of the game. Milton Ramos had a double and scored the only run for the Fireflies.
