The Tacoma Rainers bludgeoned Duane Below and Stolmy Pimentel, and the 51s couldn't manage another run after TJ Rivera's first inning solo shot. Dilson Herrera did not play, while Matt Reynolds, Gavin Cecchini, and Brandon Nimmo went a combined 2-11. Dario Alvarez also struggled, allowing a two run home run in his two-thirds innings of work.

Binghamton lost a rainy affair against the Fisher Cats on Sunday. Robert Gsellman was sharp, flashing two plus breaking balls, but was victimized by two errors from Phillip Evans and surrendered three runs, all unearned. The Binghamton offense meanwhile was unimpressive, Dominic Smith included, as they managed to scrape out only fourt hits and one run.

ST. LUCIE 5, PALM BEACH 4 (Box)

St. Lucie established a 5-1 lead goingto the bottom of the lead and survived despite Casey Delgado not recording an out in the sixth inning. Wuilmer Becerra tallied another three hits, raising his average to .345. He's also cut his strikeout rate to 15.6%, both of which are promising developments even with the lack of power so far in 2016. Amed Rosario had the night off.

KANNAPOLIS 5 , COLUMBIA 4 / 7(Box)

Columbia's comebck attempt was cut short by rain as the game was called after seven innings. Johnny Magliozzi gave up three runs in the top of the sixth to break a 2-2 tie, and though the Fireflies chipped away at that in the next two innings, they couldn't beat the rain. Ivan Wilson was in full form, striking out thrice, while Milton Ramos went hitless but walked once.
