Triple-A - Las Vegas 51s (27-23)_______________________________________

MEMPHIS 9, LAS VEGAS 3 (Box)

Memphis got to Rafael Montero early, and the 51s failed to generate any offense until the ninth inning as they fell 9-3. Josh Smoker and Chasen Bradford also struggled out of the pen, as each allowed two runs in one inning of work. Travis Taijeron earned himself a golden sombrero one night after leading the offensive charge, while Dilson Herrera and Gavin Cecchini both went hit-less. Brandon Nimmo didn't start but did make a pinch hitting appearance.

Double-A - Binghamton Mets (19-30)_____________________________________

TRENTON 9, BINGHAMTON 2 (Box)

Trenton and Binghamton traded early runs as Rainy Lara and Luis Mateo kept the game within reach, but Alberto Baldonado and Beck Wheeler allowed seven runs between them in the eighth and ninth to sink the B-Mets. Dominic Smith notched another RBI along with a walk, but he committed an error.

Advanced-A - St. Lucie Mets (25-25)_____________________________________

NO GAME (SCHEDULE)

Low-A - Columbia Fireflies (26-25)__________________________________

COLUMBIA 5, ROME 1 (Box)

Andrew Church dominated and the Fireflies offense broke through with a five-run outburst in the seventh to top Rome 5-1. Church tossed seven-and-one-third innings, allowed only one run, struck out six, and walked none. He has tallied two straight impressive starts to begin his full-season career. Luis Ortega led the Columbia offense with a three-run home run, and Dash Winningham and Vinny Siena had two hits apiece. Milton Ramos went 1-for-3 with a walk and a steal.
