Triple-A - Las Vegas 51s (45-33)_______________________________________

ALBUQUERQUE 6, LAS VEGAS 4 / 12 (Box)

Las Vegas lost a heart-breaker, blowing three separate leads en route to a 12-inning, 6-4 loss. The 51s rallied from 0-1 down to take a 2-1 lead in the eighth, but Chasen Bradford blew the lead in the bottom half of the frame. In the ninth, the 51s scored again to take a 3-2 lead, but Paul Sewald couldn't lock down the save. In the twelfth, the 51s took a 4-3 lead, only to watch Zack Thornton first surrender the lead, then give up a walk-off, two run homer to Tom Murphy. Brandon Nimmo returned to the lineup after missing several days at a wedding (apologies for missing this, both to readers and to Wally Backman) and went 3-for-6 with a triple. He has a .924 OPS and a 147 wRC+ on the season.

Double-A - Binghamton Mets (27-34)_____________________________________

HARTFORD 5, BINGHAMTON 1 (Box)

Binghamton scored first but were unable to back up their opening punch, falling 5-1 to the Yard Goats. Casey Delgado was very hittable but managed to log a quality start despite a WHIP north of 2. The Binghamton offense managed seven hits and three walks, but could only push across one run. Dominic Smith got the day off, leaving no real prospects of note in the lineup.

Advanced-A - St. Lucie Mets (30-30)_____________________________________

POSTPONED (RAIN)

Low-A - Columbia Fireflies (32-31)__________________________________

WEST VIRGINIA 5, COLUMBIA 2 (Box)

Kevin Canelon didn't pitch poorly, but some shoddy defense and a quiet day from the Fireflies's offense led to a 5-2 loss against West Virginia. Canelon pitched seven innings and allowed five runs, but only three were earned. The Fireflies mustered only six hits, only one of which went for extra bases (Joe Tuschak's double). Ivan Wilson went hitless and struck out twice, while Dash Winningham went 2-for-4 with an RBI.
