This was a PCL special, with runs scored in all but two innings and with each team putting up an inning of five runs or more. Ultimately, Las Vegas was unable to rally from an 11-1 deficit, falling 14-7. Gabriel Ynoa got rocked, giving up 14 hits and 11 runs (10 earned) in five innings. Three 51s committed errors: shortstop Gavin Cecchini, right fielder Travis Taijeron, and center fielder Ty Kelly. Offensively, Cecchini had a decent day, going 2-for-3 with two walks. Brandon Nimmo also walked twice with a hit.

St. Lucie scored thrice on wild pitches.

Top Braves prospect Touki Toussaint shut down the Fireflies for eight innings, leading to a 4-1 loss. Columbia only managed three hits, scoring their only run on a homer from Joe Tuschak. Tyler Badamo was very hittable, surrendering eleven hits in seven innings and allowing four runs, three of them earned. Christian Montgomery followed with two excellent relief innings.
