Monday Morning Mets Mind Boggler: Most walks per nine innings

Can you name every pitcher in Mets history with more than 4.00 BB/9 in a single season?

Tommy Gilligan-USA TODAY Sports

Last week, we asked you to name the Mets' pitchers with the fewest walks per nine innings in a single season. Today, we're doing the opposite: For this week's Mind Boggler, we'd like you to name every Mets pitcher with at least 4.00 BB/9 in a single season.

Mets pitchers with at least 4.00 BB/9 in a single season.

Mets pitchers have had excellent control this year. In fact, the Mets have third-best walk rate (2.52 BB/9) in all of baseball. Matt Harvey has the highest walk rate among qualified Mets pitchers, but even his (2.50 BB/9) is better than league average.

Antonio Bastardo has had the most control issues of any Mets pitcher. Among all pitchers in baseball with at least 20.0 innings pitched, the lefty ranks 18th with 5.46 BB/9.

To qualify for this list, the pitcher needed to throw enough innings—at least 162.0—to qualify for the ERA title.

You'll have three minutes for this quiz. Good luck, and remember to post your time and score in the comments!
