Noah Syndergaard's elbow is okay. The Mets' ace went for an MRI after leaving his start after six innings today because of a flare-up with his elbow. But as Syndergaard indicated on Instagram, everything is okay. Specifically, the MRI on Syndergaard's elbow showed no structural damage, and he received anti-inflammatory medication and was given clearance to play, He had felt discomfort at the back of his right elbow.
Syndergaard has undoubtedly been the Mets' best pitcher this season, not that most of the rest of the rotation has been anything short of good.
