The Mets lost to the Nationals again, this time 5-0 in a game that featured two long rain delays. Matt Harvey threw hard but gave up a run and didn’t look dominant in three-and-two-thirds innings, and his night came to an end when the game broke for the second rain delay with two outs in the bottom of the fourth.
After he left, the Mets’ bullpen gave up four runs. Jerry Blevins and Hansel Robles were charged with two apiece. It didn’t matter much, as the Mets were shut out.
