Now that June is behind us, let's take a look at how the top Mets prospects fared over the course of that month. This list is based on our preseason list of the Mets' top 25 prospects, though we'll include other interesting players who pop up onto the scene.

Age: 20
Level: Double-A (Binghamton Mets)
June: 25 Games, .269/.340/.430, 3 HR, 0/0 SB

June: 13 Games, .320/.370/.480, 1 HR, 1/1 SB

Desmond Lindsay, OF
2016 Rank: 8
Age: 19
Level: N/A

Level: Single-A (Columbia Fireflies)

Matt Reynolds, SS
2016 Rank: 12
Age: 25
Level: Triple-A (Las Vegas 51s) / MLB (New York Mets)
June: 1 Game, .000, .000, .000, 0 HR, 0/0 SB / 18 Games, .296, .321, .556, 1 HR, 0/0 SB

Age: 19
Level: Short-A (Brooklyn Cyclones)
June: 5 Games, .217/.280/.304, 0 HR, 0/0 SB
Stock:
Sanchez appeared in a few games, but he missed most of the most month due to a bruise on his throwing hand.
Eudor Garcia, 3B
2016 Rank: 18
Age: 22
Level: N/A
June: N/A

Garcia was still serving an 80-game suspension through the end of June for testing positive for bumetanide and furosemide, banned diuretics.
Jhoan Urena, 3B
2016 Rank: 21
Age: 21
Level: High-A (St. Lucie Mets)
June: 21 Games, .247/.313/.425, 2 HR, 0/0 SB
Stock:
After getting off to a terrible start to the season, Urena has begun showing signs of life and will hopefully be able to sustain his uptick in power and 1:1 BB:K ratio
Raphael Ramirez, OF
2016 Rank: 24
Age: 20
Level: Rookie (Kingsport Mets)
June: 5 Games, .125/.222/.125, 0 HR, 0/0 SB

2016 Rank: HON
Age: 23
Level: Low-A (Columbia Fireflies)
June: 18 Games, .300/.329/.486, 2 HR, 0/0 SB
Stock:
Thompson was assigned to the disabled list for the second time in roughly a calendar month due to a hamstring strain, but when he was on the field, he produced at roughly the same pace he began the season with. He has since been promoted to High-A St. Lucie.
Ricardo Cespedes, OF
2016 rank: HON
Age: 18

Age: 22
Level: Low-A (Columbia Fireflies)
June: 19 games, .239/.321/.388, 2 HR, 0/0 SB
Stock:
The strikeout and walk numbers are terrific at 10.1% and 12.7%, respectively, but you're looking for more production at this age and level from a college bat.
Kevin Kaczmarski, OF
2016 Rank: HON
Age: 24
Level: Low-A (Columbia Fireflies)
June: 25 games, .284/.367/.421, 0 HR, 3/5 SB
Stock:
Coming off a strong May, Kaczmarski continued to produce solidly in June.

Age: 20
Level: Low-A (Columbia Fireflies)
June: 23 games, .259/.273/.447, 2 HR, 0/1 SB
Stock:
The 12 extra-base hits Winningham produced in June were solid. The 18:1 strikeout to walk ratio was not.
John Mora, OF
2016 Rank: HON
Age: 23
Level: High-A (St. Lucie Mets)
June: 22 games, .360/.421/.442, 1 HR, 1/2 SB

The people were pleased with Mora's breakout June performance, in which he struck out just seven times in 94 plate appearances.
Pitchers
Robert Gsellman, RHP
2016 Rank: 9
Age: 22
Level: Triple-A (Las Vegas 51s)
June: 11 IP, 16 H, 11 R, 7 ER, 2 BB, 5 K, 5.73 ERA
Stock:
Gsellman earned a promotion to the desert and was immediately lit up for nine runs in three innings. He then disappeared to the disabled list with a quad injury. Word is
he should be returning in the next week or so.
Chris Flexen, RHP
2016 Rank: 10
Age: 21
Level: High-A (St. Lucie Mets)
June: 27.1 IP, 21 H, 8 R, 8 ER, 20 K, 2.63 ERA
Stock:
A 17.5% strikeout rate isn't going to get the job done. I had higher expectations for Flexen this year.
Gabriel Ynoa, RHP
2016 Rank: 14
Age: 23
Level: Triple-A (Las Vegas 51s)
June: 36.2 IP, 48 H, 29 R, 25 ER, 7 BB, 18 K, 6.14 ERA
Stock:
Twenty-five earned runs is a lot to give up in one month. The lack of strikeouts are still a concern and I wonder if a move to the bullpen is in his future.
Marcos Molina, RHP
2016 Rank: 15
Age: 21
Level: N/A
June: N/A
Stock:
Molina is recovering from Tommy John surgery.
Max Wotell, LHP
2016 Rank: 19
Age: 19
Level: Rookie (Kingsport Mets)
June: 4.1 IP, H, 2 R, 2 ER, 4 BB, 5 K
Stock:
Wotell had a mediocre debut with Kingsport. With some better command, he should be able to dominate this level.
Josh Smoker, LHP
2016 Rank: 20
Age: 27
Level: Triple-A (Las Vegas 51s)
June: 14.2 IP, 18 H, 10 R, 10 ER, 7 BB, 21 K, 6.14 ERA
Stock:
The strikeouts are great, but the walks and runs aren't. Still, I'm curious to see what he could do at sea level.
Akeel Morris, RHP
2016 Rank: 22
Age: 23
Level: N/A
June: 4 IP, 2 H, 4 R, 4 ER, 4 BB, 8 K
Stock:
The Mets traded Morris to bring back Kelly Johnson, who hit .293/.383/.512 for the Mets in June, and perhaps added more major league value than Morris ever will.
Harol Gonzalez, RHP
2016 Rank: 23
Age: 21
Level: Rookie (Brooklyn Mets)
June: 17.2 IP, 9 H, 5 R, 5 ER, 6 BB, 21 K, 2.55 ERA
Stock:
It's a tentative up arrow for Gonzalez who, despite posting excellent numbers, has not added the necessary velocity to get me excited about his potential.
Thomas Szapucki, LHP
2016 Rank: 25
Age: 19
Level: Rookie (Kingsport Mets)
June: 10.2 IP, 4 H, R, 0 ER, 4 BB, 19 K, 0.00 ERA
Stock:
Szapucki is missing a ton of bats and has the reports to back it up, reportedly touching 97 and sitting in the low-to-mid 90s.
Seth Lugo, RHP
2016 Rank: NR
Age: 26
Level: Triple-A (Las Vegas 51s)
June: 18 IP, 24 H, 13 R, 9 ER, 5 BB, 16 K, 4.50 ERA
Stock:
Lugo's month ended with a promotion and evidence he can bump 97 out of the pen while spinning a serious breaking ball.
Merandy Gonzalez, RHP
2016 Rank: NR
Age: 20
Level: Rookie (Brooklyn Mets)
June: 13.1 IP, 14 H, 6 R, 5 ER, 6 BB, 16 K
Stock:
The other Gonzalez is missing bats—more than a batter per inning—which is good enough to get him added to the report card.
Andrew Church, RHP
2016 Rank: NR
Age: 21
Level: High-A (St. Lucie Mets)
June: 23.1 IP, 21 H, 12 R, 11 ER, 9 BB, 12 K, 4.24 ERA
Stock:
Church burst onto the scene with two excellent starts for Columbia in late May before scuffling a bit in his debut for St. Lucie in June. He can command a low 90s fastball and has the makings of a decent slider. Church has put himself back on the prospect radar.
