Monday Morning Mets Mind Boggler: Most singles in a season

Can you name every Met with at least 125 singles in a season?

Andy Marlin-USA TODAY Sports

For the last two weeks, we've been asking you to name the Mets' single-season leaders in various offensive categories. Last week's category was doubles, while the previous week's was triples. For this week's Mind Boggler, we'd like you to name the Mets' single-season leaders in singles—specifically, every Met with at least 125 one-baggers in a year.

Mets with at least 125 singles in a season.

Asdrubal Cabrera leads the 2016 Mets with 55 singles, which puts him on pace for 101 by year's end. As a team, the Mets rank second-to-last in all of baseball in singles, and have derived much of their offensive production from the home run ball. In fact, the team's rate of just 3.56 singles for every home run is by far the lowest in all of baseball, and much lower than the major league average of 4.92.

You'll have three minutes for this quiz. Good luck, and remember to post your time and score in the comments!
