Double-A - Binghamton Mets (39-49)_____________________________________

NEW HAMPSHIRE 8, BINGHAMTON 4 (Box)

Several errors undermined knuckleballer Mickey Jannis in an 8-4 loss to New Hampshire. Jim Henderson made a one inning rehab start, allowing a hit but no runs. Two errors in the third led to four unearned runs, and Binghamton was never able to rebound. L.J. Mazzilli went 2-for-5 with a double, while Matt Oberste, starting at first with Dominic Smith at the Futures game, went 2-for-3 with two RBIs and two walks.

Advanced-A - St. Lucie Mets (34-32 / 10-8)_____________________________________

CLEARWATER 4, ST. LUCIE 0 (Box)

St. Lucie was no-hit by three Clearwater pitchers as they lost 4-0. The St. Lucie Mets managed only three walks, but struck out eleven times against Drew Anderson, Will Morris, and Victor Arano. Jhoan Urena got a start at first base and drew one of those walks, but also struck out twice. Wuilmer Becerra struck out twice in three at bats.

Low-A - Columbia Fireflies (36-34 / 5-13)__________________________________

AUGUSTA 3, COLUMBIA 0 (Box)

Three Augusta pitchers combined to shutout the Fireflies in a 3-0 loss. Columbia mustered only five hits, two apiece from Kevin Kaczmarski and Joe Tushcak and an additional hit from Emmanuel Zabala. Kevin Canelon made a fine start, throwing seven innings of two run balls, allowing four hits and two walks while striking out two. Tyler Bashlor gave up a run in an inning of relief work. Eudor Garcia went 0-for-4 with a pair of strikeouts and Dale Burdick had a platinum sombrero.

SS-A - Brooklyn Cyclones (10-13)_______________________________________

BROOKLYN 4, HUDSON VALLEY 3 (Box)

Brooklyn turned a triple play and scored in every other inning to top Hudson Valley 4-3. First-round pick Justin Dunn got his first profesional win with a two inning relief stint, striking out two and walking one. Colby Woodmansee and Nick Sergakis homered, and Peter Alonso went 1-for-4 with an RBI. Ali Sanchez DHed and went 0-for-4

Rookie - Kingsport Mets (7-10)__________________________

KINGSPORT 10, DANVILLE 2 (Box)

Kingsport beat Danville into the dirt with 16 hits in a 10-2 win. Thomas Szapucki dominated again, striking out eight and allowing only an unearned run in five innings, raising his strikeout rate to 38 in 21.2 innings. Ricardo Cespedes, Reed Gamache, Jose Medina, Jeremy Wolf, Dionis Rodriguez, and Raphael Ramirez all recorded multiple hits. Darwin Ramos and Trent Johnson finished off the game once Szapucki departed.

Rookie - GCL Mets (8-6)__________________________

GCL METS 10, GCL CARDINALS 9 (Box)

The GCL Mets won in just about the most dramatic way possible, as Ranfy Adon hit a walk-off grand slam with the GCL Mets down three runs in the ninth. A hit by pitch, a single and a fielder error from Cardinals' first-round pick Delvin Perez loaded the bases, but Oliver Pascual struck out to send the GCL Mets to their last out. Adon came to the rescue, laumching Robert Calvano's pitch over the wall for the game winning hit.
