Triple-A - Las Vegas 51s (49-44)_______________________________________

LAS VEGAS 6, IOWA 2 (Box)

Duane Below tossed seven excellent innings as the 51s topped the Iowa Cubs 6-2. Dilson Herrera went 3-for-4 with a double and a walk, while Gavin Cecchini went hit-less in four at bats. Kevin Plawecki launched a two-run home run and now has a 149 wRC+ at Triple-A. Paul Sewald finished the game with two perfect innings with three strikeouts.

Double-A - Binghamton Mets (41-51)_____________________________________

HARTFORD 7, BINGHAMTON 6 (Box)

The Binghamton offense was very productive, but Luis Mateo blew a late lead and the B-Mets lost 7-6 to Hartford. Dominic Smith went 3-for-5 with two RBI and Amed Rosario went 1-for-4 with a walk. Victor Cruzado also had three hits and two RBIs. Knuckleballer Mickey Jannis tossed six innings of three-run ball, with four strikeouts and four walks. Logan Taylor got the loss after allowing a run in the ninth.

Advanced-A - St. Lucie Mets (35-32 / 14-9)_____________________________________

ST. LUCIE 4, TAMPA 1 (Box)

Scarlyn Reyes was excellent for seven innings and got the win in a 4-1 victory over Tampa. Reyes struck out seven and walked one, allowing only one run. Jhoan Urena, playing at first again, launched his seventh home run of the year, while Kevin Taylor, Wuilmer Becerra, and John Mora had one RBI each. Corey Taylor got the save with a scorless inning, allowing two hits and striking out one.

Low-A - Columbia Fireflies (36-34 / 6-18)__________________________________

ROME 5, COLUMBIA 3 (Box)

Columbia lost 5-3 to Rome after Seth Davis allowed two runs late. Kevin Canelon was solid for seven innings, striking out six and allowing three runs. Tucker Tharp and Dash Winningham both homered, with the pair driving in all three runs for the Fireflies. Milton Ramos went 0-for-4 with a strikeout, and Eudor Garcia went 1-for-4. Brandon Brosher stole two bases.

SS-A - Brooklyn Cyclones (13-17)_______________________________________

HUDSON VALLEY 4, BROOKLYN 1 (Box)

Joel Huertas got shellacked over a brief, two inning starts, and the Brooklyn offense was too quiet to rally in a 4-1 loss to Hudson Valley. College World Series champion Michael Paez lead off and went 0-for-4 with three strikeouts, as did DH Colby Woodmansee. Blake Tiberi was the only Cyclone to record a hit, notching two singles. Justin Dunn allowed his first profesional run in two earnings of work.

Rookie - Kingsport Mets (11-12)__________________________

KINGSPORT 8, BURLINGTON 1 (Box)

Another brilliant start from Thomas Szapucki lead Kingsport to an 8-1 win over Burlington. Szapucki tossed 7.1 innings, allowed one run, and struck out another nine batters while walking only two. He know has a 47/9 K/BB ratio in 29 innings this season. A promotion seems a matter of when rather than if. Walter Rasquin homered and stole a base, while Jose Medina drove in two with a double.
