Duane Below got PCL’d, allowing seven runs in five innings despite striking out six and walking none, as the 51s fell to New Orleans 8-6. Michael Conforto fell a triple short of the cycle, but committed a fielding error in left field. Jim Henderson appeared in relief, walking one and striking out one in a scoreless inning of work. Gavin Cecchini went hitless in three at-bats with a walk.

Tim Peterson worked two innings to earn a hold, and David Roseboom worked the ninth. Dominic Smith, Matt Oberste, and Xorge Carrillo all went deep, with Smith adding a double and a single. He now has 79 RBI on the season.
