This year, Noah Syndergaard became the 12th pitcher in Mets history to strike out 200 batters in a season. For this week’s Mind Boggler, we’re asking you to name all 12.

Mets pitchers to strike out at least 200 batters in a season.

Syndergaard’s 210 strikeouts are the 10th most of any pitcher in baseball and by far the most of any Met this year. Jacob deGrom, the Mets’ runner-up, has just 143 strikeouts, nearly 70 fewer than Syndergaard.

Among qualified pitchers, Syndergaard’s 10.64 K/9 is the fourth-best mark in baseball. Only Max Scherzer, Robbie Ray, and the late Jose Fernandez have struck out more batters per nine innings. Syndergaard’s strikeout rate is the second best in Mets history, behind only the 11.39 K/9 that Dwight Gooden posted during his rookie season in 1984.

You’ll have two minutes for this quiz. Good luck, and remember to post your time and score in the comments!
