Las Vegas rallied to tie the game in the ninth but fell 4-3 in extra innings to Salt Lake. Tyler Pill tossed seven innings of three run ball, striking out five, and Jeff Walters and Erik Goeddel combined for 2.2 innings of scoreless relief. Johnny Monell drove in two to erase a 3-1 deficit in the ninth, but Josh Edgin coughed up the walk off loss to Salt Lake in the eleventh.

Double-A: Binghamton Mets (63-74)

BINGHAMTON 8, ERIE 1 (BOX)

Binghamton’s offense went off and Andrew Barbosa didn’t allow a run in eight innings of work as the B-Mets topped Erie 8-1. Amed Rosario led the way offensively, going 2-for-3 with a double and two walks, while Dominic Smith contributed a double and a pair of RBI himself. JUPITER 7, ST. LUCIE 6 (BOX)

The St. Lucie staff had a night to forget, allowing seven runs in a 7-6 loss to Jupiter. Corey Oswalt was shellacked, allowing five runs in the first inning and departing after 2.1 IP. St. Lucie rallied to overcome that deficit, but Mike Hepple blew that lead after being victimized by some shoddy defense. Thomas Nido stayed red hot, going 3-for-5 out of the leadoff spot.

Low-A: Columbia Fireflies (36-34 / 30-38)

GAME 1: COLUMBIA 5, CHARLESTON 1 / 7 (BOX)

Gaby Almonte tossed an abbreviated complete game as Columbia took Game 1 of their double header 5-1. Almonte worked around two errors, striking out five and allowed only one run in his seven innings of work. GAME 2: CHARLESTON 4, COLUMBIA 1 / 7 (BOX)

In the makeup of a game suspended on Friday, Columbia fell 4-1 to Charleston. SS-A: Brooklyn Cyclones (36-37)
