National League Wild Card Game: San Francisco Giants v. New York Mets

Meet the Mets

The Mets have not only given out the largest contract of this offseason, they’ve also spent the most in free agency of any team in the NL East.

Beyond the Box Score wants the Phillies to sign Brandon Moss.

The Nationals are expected to extend Dusty Baker’s contract before spring training.

Around MLB

Jung Ho Kang may lose his spot on the South Korean team for the World Baseball Classic because of his multiple DUI arrests.

Matt Adams has apparently lost twenty-five pounds and is optimistic that it will improve his performance in 2017.

St. Louis Blues goalie Carter Hutton wore a Cardinals-themed mask during the Winter Classic this year that included a tribute to Cardinals legend Stan “The Man” Musial. Musial’s family saw the mask and sent Hutton a ball autographed by Musial, who died in 2013, as a gift.
