Last week, we asked you to name every qualified starter in Mets history to post a single-season ERA under 3.00. For this week’s Mind Boggler, we’d like you to name every Mets pitcher—starter or reliever—with a single-season ERA under 2.00.
Every pitcher in Mets history to post a single-season ERA under 2.00 (min. 50 IP)
To qualify, the pitcher needs to have thrown at least 50 innings in the listed season. As a result, most of the players listed here are relievers, although a couple of starters from last week’s list make return appearances.
Addison Reed was the Mets’ ERA leader in 2017. Despite coming just one inning short of reaching the 50-inning plateau as a Met, Reed posted an excellent 2.57 ERA before New York dealt him to Boston at the trade deadline.
You’ll have three minutes for this quiz. Good luck, and remember to post your time and score in the comments!
