If you’ve been in tune with baseball on the internet in New York City over the past few years, you are probably familiar with the Pitch Talks series. If you’re not, it’s a series of events that take place in a variety of cities, each of which typically features several writers discussing the baseball team or teams of the city. This year, the event hits New York on Tuesday, April 4 at the Bell House in Brooklyn. There’s a Facebook event with all of the details, but the lineup features several familiar names:

  • Hank Azaria, best known from his work on The Simpsons
  • Jonah Keri of CBS Sports and SI, plus several other outlets over the years
  • Anthony DiComo of mlb.com, who joined us on Episode 197 of the podcast
  • Marc Carig of Newsday, who most recently joined us for Episode 184
  • Jay Jaffe of SI, who joined us on Episode 195
  • Hannah Keyser of Deadspin
