Meet the Mets
The Mets traveled to Philly for a wild and crazy game that featured Noah Syndergaard stealing the Phillie Phanatic’s ATV, an attempted decapitation of Asdrubal Cabrera, a plucky start from Jacob deGrom, and a pair of homers from none other than Jay Bruce.
During the game, Edubray Ramos decided to celebrate Passover by passing a ball over Asdrubal Cabrera’s head. It was not well-received by Cabrera, as Ramos was likely seeking revenge for Cabrera flipping his bat after hitting a home run off him last season.
Terry Collins joked that he’s going to send the FBI out to find the real Jose Reyes.
David Wright has resumed throwing and hopes to be back in the Mets’ lineup someday soon.
