Triple-A: Las Vegas 51s (16-22)

LAS VEGAS 10, IOWA 5 (BOX)

The 51s won a good ol’ fashion Vegas slugfest, 10-5. Amed Rosario, Dominic Smith, and Travis Taijeron all went deep to back a rough start from Sean Gilmartin, who gave up four runs in 3.2 innings. Rosario also stole a base, and Brandon Nimmo continued to rehab with a single and a pair of walks.

Double-A: Binghamton Rumble Ponies (18-13)

NO GAME (SCHEDULE)

Advanced-A: St. Lucie Mets (17-21)

ST. LUCIE 6, LAKELAND 0 (BOX)

Andrew Church was excellent as St. Lucie defeated Lakeland 6-0. Church held the Flying Tigers scoreless for 8.1 innings before departing for Justin Brantley. Jhoan Urena continued his resurgence with his third home run of the season and another double, and Dale Burdick also homered in the win.

Low-A: Columbia Fireflies (19-17)

GAME 1: COLUMBIA 6, LAKEWOOD 1 / 7 (BOX)

Columbia took game one behind seven stellar innings from Harol Gonzalez. Gonzalez allowed only one run and struck out eight, holding his velocity very well late into his start and impressing several AA staffers who saw the game live. Andrew Gimenez continued to hit with a single, and Michael Paez had a 2-for-2 day with a pair of walks.

GAME 2: LAKEWOOD 2, COLUMBIA 1 / 7 (BOX)

Jordan Humphreys impressed in game 2, but the Columbia offense evaporated as the Fireflies lost 2-1. Humphreys struck out six in his six innings of work, taking his first loss of the year, but showing good velocity and sharper secondaries. Luis Carpio had the only offensive performance of note, with a pair of singles and an RBI.
