Triple-A - Las Vegas 51s (19-27)

ROUND ROCK 14, LAS VEGAS 3 (Box)

Welp. It was that kinda game. At least Travis Taijeron went yard, and Amed Rosario continued punishing the PCL? Steven Matz wasn’t really all that great in his rehab start, allowing five runs over four innings, but at least he was on the mound, and he was striking guys out. He did better than poor Kevin McGowan, who allowed six runs while only notching two outs. Cesar Puello extracted revenge on his former team by going 3-4 with two homers.

Double-A - Binghamton Rumble Ponies (23-15)

POSTPONED (INCLEMENT WEATHER)

Advanced-A - St. Lucie Mets (19-24)

BRADENTON 8, ST. LUCIE 2 (Box)

Seth Lugo made a rehab start, and it didn’t go well for the right-hander. Things started off well when he struck out the side in the first inning, but Bradenton plated four runs in the second and three runs in the third to make it an early runaway. Relievers Austin McGeorge, Alex Palsha and Craig Missigman took over and held the fort down, but the offense was barely able to get on the board, let alone score eight runs. Arnaldo Berrios’ RBI double and Jhoan Urena’s RBI triple were all St. Lucie could muster.

Low-A - Columbia Fireflies (21-20)

POSTPONED (RAIN)

Star of the Night

Travis Taijeron
