Last week, we asked you to name every player in Mets history with at least three leadoff home runs. Today’s Mind Boggler focuses on a different—and even more exciting—offensive play. For this week’s Mind Boggler, we’d like you to name every player with at least three grand slams as a Met.
Mets with at least three grand slams
Six different Mets hit grand slams last year. Asdrubal Cabrera, Wilmer Flores, Curtis Granderson, Kelly Johnson, and Justin Ruggiano hit one apiece, while Yoenis Cespedes hit two.
Jay Bruce has the Mets’ only grand slam so far this year. With New York down, 9-3, to the Braves in the ninth inning of last Tuesday’s game, Bruce hit a grand slam to the opposite field to cut Atlanta’s lead to 9-7. The Braves, however, would hold that lead and win the game by that score.
You’ll have five minutes for this quiz. Good luck, and remember to post your time and score in the comments!
