Triple-A - Las Vegas 51s (25-39)

TACOMA 5, LAS VEGAS 3 F/11 (Box)

The 51s were held in check by a rehabbing Felix Hernandez, falling to the Rainiers yesterday 5-3. Rafael Montero allowed four runs in six innings to take the loss, while Hansel Robles allowed another home run in relief to bring his total to three in 8.1 innings since his demotion.

Jayce Boyd was the only Vegas player with a multi-hit game yesterday, going 2-for-3 including his third home run of the season. Brandon Nimmo took home the golden sombrero yesterday and has struck out 17 times in his last 10 games.

ROSTER ALERT: New York Mets optioned RHP Tyler Pill to Las Vegas 51s.

ROSTER ALERT: New York Mets optioned SS Matt Reynolds to Las Vegas 51s.

Double-A - Binghamton Rumble Ponies (34-23)

BINGHAMTON 4, HARRISBURG 3 F/11 (Box)

Matt Oberste’s bases-loaded walk broke a 2-2 tie in the 11th inning, propelling the Ponies to an eventual 4-3 victory in Harrisburg yesterday. Tomas Nido continues his excellent June with two more hits and a walk as the 23-year old catcher is now hitting .280/.326/.460 on the season in 42 games. Cory Burns had an exceptionally shaky eleventh, but was able to induce a pop out with the bases loaded to earn his fourth save of the season.

ROSTER ALERT: Binghamton Rumble Ponies placed RHP Blake Beavan on the 7-day disabled list.

ROSTER ALERT: Binghamton Rumble Ponies activated RHP Casey Delgado from the 7-day disabled list.

ROSTER ALERT: Binghamton Rumble Ponies placed RHP Donovan Hand on the temporarily inactive list.

Advanced-A - St. Lucie Mets (30-31)

LAKELAND 1, ST. LUCIE 0 (Box)

The Mets were victims of the rare five-game sweep, dropping a 1-0 result to the Flying Tigers yesterday. Marcos Molina was amazing, allowing one run on three hits in 7.2 innings while striking out eight but had to take the loss because the St. Lucie offense was the polar opposite of amazing.

ROSTER ALERT: RHP Daniel Bard assigned to St. Lucie Mets.

Low-A - Columbia Fireflies (36-25)

COLUMBIA 3, CHARLESTON 2 (Box)

Gabriel Llanes threw 8.2 innings of two-run baseball and Tim Tebow 2-RBI single in the third would give the Colaflies a lead they would never relinquish, as Columbia completed a 4-game sweep of the Charleston RiverDogs yesterday.
