Addison Reed allowed a double to to Daniel Murphy, but coaxed two line-outs from Ryan Zimmerman and Anthony Rendon, finally striking out Matt Wieters to get both the save and the win.

The Mets would out hit the Nationals 11-3, backed by strong performances from Michael Conforto (2-for-3, two RBI, and a walk), Lucas Duda (2-for-3), and T.J. “All I Do Is Hit” Rivera, who went 4-for-4.

deGrom improves to 6-3 on the season, and his ERA dropped to 3.94.
