After leading 3-1 in the fifth inning, the Bees tied the game with a run in both the fifth and eighth innings. Hansel Robles’s struggles persist, as he blew the save and nearly lost the game in the ninth after a hit batsman and two walks loaded the bases with two outs, but was able to induce a groundout to escape. The Bees eventually won the game in the 11th against Logan Taylor on a walk-off single from Rey Navarro. Dominic Smith and Amed Rosario each had two hits last night, with Rosario sitting sixth in the PCL with a .340 batting average.

After Corey Oswalt left the game after just one inning experiencing discomfort, Kelly Secrest relieved him and allowed all six Richmond runs in the second inning. After the Ponies cut the deficit to 6-3 in the third, they had no more hits and just one baserunner the rest of the game. Tomas Nido had two hits yesterday, including his fifth home run of the season.
