Triple-A - Las Vegas 51s (36-58)

LAS VEGAS 13, ALBUQUERQUE 3 (Box)

Every Vegas player had at least one hit yesterday as the 51s throttled the Isotopes 13-3 yesterday. Five players had mutli-hit games with Phillip Evans collecting four of his own in the rout.

Double-A - Binghamton Rumble Ponies (50-38)

BINGHAMTON 7, READING 5 (Box)

The Ponies continued their winning ways in downing the Fightin’ Phils 7-5 yesterday. Casey Delgado threw six strong innings to take the win and Matt Oberste’s double plating two runs in the sixth would prove to the game-winning hit.

Advanced-A - St. Lucie Mets (8-15/41-50)

FORT MYERS 6, ST. LUCIE 3 (Box)

Justin Dunn continues to struggle in his first full professional season, allowing six runs in five innings as the Mets fell to the Miracle 6-3 yesterday. Jhoan Urena had three hits and Peter Alonso slugged his eighth home run in the defeat.

Low-A - Columbia Fireflies (8-15/48-43)

KANNAPOLIS 3, COLUMBIA 0 (Box)

In a strange, meek loss, the Colaflies had just four hits yesterday and only struck out three times. The winning Intimidators pitcher, Blake Hickman, actually had no strikeouts in his six innings of work as Columbia was held to just one at-bat with a runner in scoring position yesterday.

Short-A - Brooklyn Cyclones (7-19)

BROOKLYN 2, STATE COLLEGE 1 (Box)

In a season where very little has gone right for our NY-Penn League heroes, the Cyclones were able to end a five-game losing streak in dramatic fashion against the Spikes yesterday as Jose Miguel Medina’s walf-off double plated Matt Winaker and sent the faithful home happy.

Rookie - Kingsport Mets (9-13)

JOHNSON CITY 3, KINGSPORT 2 (Box)

Despite a valiant comeback effort in the bottom of the ninth yesterday, the K-Mets simply ran out of gas as Angel Manzanarez lined out to end the game with the tying run 90 feet away in Anthony Dirocie.

Rookie - GCL Mets (5-11)

GCL MARLINS 7, GCL METS 3 (Box)

ROSTER ALERT: SS Pedro Ventura assigned to GCL Mets from DSL Mets2.
