Triple-A - Las Vegas 51s (37-67)

NASHVILLE 8, LAS VEGAS 7 (Box)

A ninth-inning rally by the 51s came up just short, as they plated five, but needed six. Gavin Cecchini doubled in Travis Taijeron to make the score 8-7, but was stranded there when Josh Rodriguez grounded out, as Vegas came up just short. Amed Rosario went 4-for-5 in what was would be a fine swan song to the minors if only...you know... sigh.

Double-A - Binghamton Rumble Ponies (56-44)

BINGHAMTON 3, AKRON 2 (Box)

Binghamton surrendered 1-0 and 2-1 leads during the game, but that third lead finally stuck. Matt Oberste singled in Champ Stuart—who led off the frame with a single and followed with his 30th stolen base of the season—in the top of the eighth to provide the winning run.

ROSTER ALERT: New York Mets sent RHP Robert Gsellman on a rehab assignment to Binghamton Rumble Ponies.

Advanced-A - St. Lucie Mets (13-20/46-55)

BRADENTON 9, ST. LUCIE 8 (Box)

St. Lucie put up five runs in the second to take an early lead, but Nabil Crismatt was in rare poor form last night. Bradenton registered at least one run in each of the first five innings, finally going ahead for good with a run in the seventh. St. Lucie rallied in the ninth, plating one and loading the bases with one out, but J.C. Rodriguez popped into a game-ending double play.

ROSTER ALERT: RHP Adonis Uceta assigned to St. Lucie Mets from Columbia Fireflies.

Low-A - Columbia Fireflies (14-17/54-45)

NO GAME (SCHEDULE)

ROSTER ALERT: Columbia Fireflies sent LHP Placido Torres on a rehab assignment to GCL Mets.

Short-A - Brooklyn Cyclones (12-23)

NO GAME (SCHEDULE)

Rookie - Kingsport Mets (13-19)

KINGSPORT 5, DANVILLE 4 (Box)

Raphael Gladu walked it off in the bottom of the ninth, blasting a three-run home run with one out, sending Kingsport to an exciting victory and helping them avoid the sweep to Danville. The bullpen was stellar over the last three innings, keeping the game close and enabling Gladu’s heroics.

Rookie - GCL Mets (7-16)

GCL MARLINS 4, GCL METS 0 (Box)

Rehabbing Tommy Milone suffered the indignity of a GCL loss, as he gave up two runs over 1.2 innings, and the GCL Mets were held scoreless on the night.
