Triple-A - Las Vegas 51s (34-53)

LAS VEGAS 13, EL PASO 7 (Box)

Las Vegas scored all 13 of their runs between the sixth and eighth innings, capping a comeback victory over El Paso 13-7 last night. Trailing 3-0 in the bottom of the sixth, the 51s terrorized the Chihuahua bullpen, plating two runs in the sixth, six runs in the seventh, and five in the eighth. Amed Rosario went 4-for-5 with three runs and two stolen bases while Dom Smith went 3-for-5 with three runs, a home run, and 6 RBI on the night.

Double-A - Binghamton Rumble Ponies (45-36)

ALTOONA 6, BINGHAMTON 5 (Box)

The Ponies mounted a valiant comeback effort against the Curve last night but simply ran out of outs in falling last night 6-5 in Altoona. After already plating two runs in the top of the ninth Bingo loaded the bases with one out against closer Madison DuRapau, but couldn’t get any runners home as Tyler Moore lined out to the second baseman and Dale Burdick swung at strike three to end the game. Mickey Jannis was the losing pitcher last night, allowing four runs on seven hits over five innings.

Advanced-A - St. Lucie Mets (3-11/36-46)

CHARLOTTE 8, ST. LUCIE 5 (Box)

Kevin Canelon got torched last night in a spot start, allowing five runs in 1.2 innings as the Mets lost to the Stone Crabs 8-5 last night. Michael Conforto made his first rehab appearance last night, going 3-for-4 with a double.

ROSTER ALERT: New York Mets sent LHP Josh Smoker on a rehab assignment to St. Lucie Mets.

ROSTER ALERT: Aneury Olivo assigned to GCL Mets from St. Lucie Mets.

ROSTER ALERT: RHP Briam Campusano assigned to St. Lucie Mets from GCL Mets.

ROSTER ALERT: New York Mets sent OF Michael Conforto on a rehab assignment to St. Lucie Mets.

Low-A - Columbia Fireflies (6-9/46-36)

COLUMBIA 2, AUGUSTA 1 F/10 (Box)

Yes, the Colaflies won, but the most important news from this game was that Thomas Szapucki was removed from this game after just 14 pitches with an injury. Brandon Brosher’s home run in the 10th proved to be the game winner as Adonis Uceta notched his 10th save of the season to seal the victory.

Short-A - Brooklyn Cyclones (4-12)

TRI-CITY 13, BROOKLYN 0 (Box)

The Cyclones were three-hit and struck out 13 times, while Jake Simon allowed seven runs in 4.1 innings. Let’s forget about this one.

Rookie - Kingsport Mets (5-8)

KINGSPORT 17, BRISTOL 3 (Box)

The K-Mets went 11-for-27 with runners in scoring position as they smashed the Bristol Pirates 17-3 last night. Every player had at least one hit, paced by Edgardo Fermin’s 5-for-6 effort.

Rookie - GCL Mets (3-6)

GCL MARLINS 4, GCL METS 3 (Box)

The Mets staged a three-run comeback in the top in the ninth to tie the game, before losing in the bottom of the frame on a walk-off double.
