Triple-A - Las Vegas 51s (34-54)

ALBUQUERQUE 6, LAS VEGAS 4 (Box)

After falling behind by two runs in the second inning, the 51s took some time to score but tied the game with a pair of runs in the fifth and scored one run in the sixth and one more in the seventh. But that two-run lead disappeared in the bottom of the seventh, as Alberto Baldonado gave up four runs in just one-third of an inning. Amed Rosario got the night off, but Dominic Smith went 2-for-4 with a home run.

Double-A - Binghamton Mets (45-37)

HARTFORD 6, BINGHAMTON 3 (Box)

The Rumble Ponies gave up six runs over the first eight innings of this game before finally getting runs of their own on the board. But they only plated three in the bottom of the eighth and didn’t score again after that. P.J. Conlon gave up five runs in six-and-two-thirds innings and now has a 4.07 ERA with Binghamton this year.

High-A - St. Lucie Mets (37-46)

ST. LUCIE 3, JUPITER 1 (Box)

Jhoan Urena was the start of the show for St. Lucie, as he went 3-for-4 with a pair of doubles and a pair of runs scored. Andrew Church had a heck of a start, too, with eight strikeouts and one walk and just one run allowed in six-and-two-thirds innings.

Low-A - Columbia Fireflies (46-36)

CHARLESTON 7, COLUMBIA 1 (Box)

Thomas McIlrath gave up six runs in five-and-a-third innings, and that was pretty much for this one. Columbia trailed from the third inning on and eked out a lone run late in the game.

Short-A - Brooklyn Cyclones (4-13)

STATEN ISLAND 4, BROOKLYN 3 (Box)

The Cyclones’ rough start to the season continued with a close loss to the rival Staten Island Yankees. There weren’t any particularly notable performances in the game, either.

Rookie - Kingsport Mets (5-9)

GREENEVILLE 3, KINGSPORT 1 (Box)

Christian James, a 19-year-old drafted by the Mets in 2016, had a very good start. He gave up a ru in six innings with five strikeouts and a walk.

Rookie - GCL Mets (3-7)

GCL NATIONALS 2, GCL METS 1 (Box)

Hey, that outcome looks familiar!
