The Mets took three of four from the Phillies this weekend, capping the series off with a 6-2 win at Citizens Bank Park. The Mets continue to love playing in Philadelphia, and head into the Subway Series on a bit of a roll.

Chris Flexen started for the Mets, and got his second career win. He went eight innings, setting a career high in both strikeouts and walks, five and four, respectively. The two runs scored on a single in the first and a wild pitch in the fifth.

Michael Conforto hit a two-run home run in the top of the first inning, driving in Curtis Granderson. Four innings later, Granderson did just the same, plating himself and Jose Reyes in the top of the fifth. Both home runs came off of Phillies starter Zach Eflin. Granderson would drive in the fifth run of the game in the seventh, scoring Reyes yet again, before Wilmer Flores drove him in a few batters later.

Chasen Bradford, Jerry Blevins, Paul Sewald, and AJ Ramos all pitched scoreless innings to secure the win for the team.

Full recap to follow.
