With the Mets on the skids again, it was pitching MVP Jacob deGrom to the rescue in Atlanta. The Mets’ ace pitched seven strong innings, surrendering just one run, to lead the Mets to a much-needed victory. It was deGrom’s 15th win of the season, the first time he’s reached that mark.
