As we have mentioned on the past couple of episodes of the podcast, we’re planning to have an Amazin’ Avenue meet-up at the final home game of the 2017 season. That game is scheduled for 7:10 PM on Wednesday, September 27, as the Mets host the Braves before heading off to Philadelphia for the three-game series that will officially end their season.
Think of this as something of an AARGH but with actual live Mets baseball in front of us. Logistically, it’s pretty straightforward: Get yourself or yourselves into Citi Field with any ticket—there are sure to be some cheap ones out there—and come by for an inning, a few innings, or the entire game as we hang in the standing room area behind roughly Section 129. We’ll update this post if we have an exact location that day, but the area is generally conducive to meeting up with people and still being able to see the game really well.
