Today, we’re starting a series of Mind Bogglers in which we look back at some of the longest streaks in Mets history. We actually covered hit streaks in a Mind Boggler last year. Over the next several weeks, we’ll be covering streaks in various offensive and pitching categories, starting with pitcher wins.
Every pitcher in Mets history to win at least seven consecutive starts
In order to make this list, the pitcher needs to have gotten a win in at least seven consecutive starts. If the pitcher won six straight starts, got a no-decision in the seventh, and then won the eighth, he will not be listed here. It certainly doesn’t happen often, but Mets pitchers have accomplished the feat in each of the last two seasons.
You’ll have two minutes for this quiz, which gives you 10 seconds per answer as there are only 12 individual players listed here. Good luck, and remember to post your time and score in the comments!
