Last week, we started a Mind Boggler series looking back at some of the longest streaks in Mets history. For this week’s installment, we’re asking you to name every Met to hit a home run in at least four consecutive games.
Every player in Mets history to homer in at least four consecutive games
It’s no surprise that most of these streaks occurred from the late eighties on, when home runs became more prevalent in the game. Many of the names listed here are ones you’d expect. For the others, think of players with a lot of raw power and the ability to run into home runs when hot. While no Met accomplished the feat in 2017, a couple of Mets did so in two of the previous four years.
You’ll have three minutes for this quiz. That gives you 15 seconds per answer as there are 12 individual players listed. Good luck, and remember to post your time and score in the comments!
