Triple-A: Las Vegas 51s (4-8)

LAS VEGAS 9, EL PASO 6 / 11 (BOX)

The 51s won with a pretty nice score in eleven innings, as a four run rally in the top of the eleventh propelled them past El Paso. Drew Gagnon had a great start, striking out ten in 5.2 innings an only allowing two earned runs. Jacob Rhame tossed a scoreless inning as did Jamie Callahan, and Drew Smith worked 1.1 innings without an earned run (though he allowed an inherited runner to score). Phillip Evans was the offensive start, going 4-for-5 with a double, two runs, and two RBI.

Double-A: Binghamton Rumble Ponies (3-5)

Low-A: Columbia Fireflies (7-4)

COLUMBIA 7, GREENVILLE 1 (BOX)

Edgardo Fermin had a huge day, leading the Fireflies to a 7-1 victory with a three hit, three run performance. The 19 year old is off to a hot start at Single-A, running an OPS over.800 (albeit with way too many strikeouts). Walter Rasquin also contributed a home in support of starter Chris Viall, who struck out eleven in five innings.
