Triple-A: Las Vegas 51s (10-15)

LAS VEGAS 9, SACRAMENTO 5 (BOX)

Matt den Dekker and Bryce Brentz led the 51s to a 4-0 lead in the first, and Las Vegas never looked back in a 9-5 win. den Dekker, Brentz, Monell, and Evans all homered in support of Corey Oswalt, who went six innings and struck out seven while allowing three runs. Matt Purke and Jacob Rhame each gave up a run out of the bullpen, but the 51s put together enough insurance to hang on for the win.

Double-A: Binghamton Rumble Ponies (11-10)

AKRON 7, BINGHAMTON 5 (BOX)

Things started well for Andrew Church and the Rumble Ponies, as the offense scored five runs in the first four innings. Peter Alonso and Jeff McNeil led the way (again), each reaching base three times in five PA with a double. Unfortunately, things came apart in the bottom of the fifth, when errors and bad pitching from Church led to seven runs. Church only got one out in the inning. Adonis Uceta and Austin McGeorge kept the deficit at two, but the offense never got things going again.
