Triple-A: Las Vegas 51s (17-24)

LAS VEGAS 8, TACOMA 3 (BOX)

P.J. Conlon returned from the Mets to throw 5.2 innings strong, while the bullpen threw the final 3.1 innings scoreless as the 51s downed the Rainiers. The 51s only had 10 hits on the night, but they made each count as six of them went for extra bases, including two doubles off the bat of Dominic Smith, who paced all Vegas hitters with three hits total yesterday.

Double-A: Binghamton Rumble Ponies (20-18)

BINGHAMTON 11, NEW HAMPSHIRE 1 (BOX)

Every Bingo starter had at least one hit last night, as the Rumble Ponies throttled the Fisher Cats 11-1 in New Hampshire last night. Nabil Crismatt threw six excellent innings, allowing just three hits and striking out seven. The Bingo offense worked slowly but suddenly, scoring runs in six of nine innings and swatting three home runs, two of which came off Kevin Taylor’s bat.

Advanced-A: St. Lucie Mets (16-20)

POSTPONED (RAIN)

Once again, the Mets and the Fire Frogs were postponed but this time, a doubleheader fell victim to the rain.

Low-A: Columbia Fireflies (21-18)

COLUMBIA 2, CHARLESTON 1 (BOX)

Despite being no-hit until the sixth inning last night in Charleston, the Colaflies rode a huge 8th inning to steal one from the Riverdogs last night. Thursday prospect report favorite Tony Dibrell was outstanding last night, striking out seven and allowing just one run in seven innings of work. Trailing by that one run heading into the eighth inning last night, Edgardo Fermin tripled home Rigoberto Terrezas, and Raphael Gladu doubled home Fermin to knock home the eventual winning run.
