Triple-A - Las Vegas 51s (23-33)

LAS VEGAS 2, RENO 1 (Box)

In a rare low scoring affair in the PCL, the 51s beat the Aces on Friday night. Cody Martin pitched five innings and gave up just one run on eight strikeouts. Playing on a rehab assignment, Todd Frazier went 1-3 with a run scored while Anthony Swarzak pitched a scoreless inning out of the bullpen. Drew Smith and Jacob Rhame finished the game for the 51s to secure the victory.

ROSTER ALERT: New York Mets selected the contract of C Jose Lobaton from Las Vegas 51s.

Double-A - Binghamton Rumble Ponies

Advanced-A - Port St. Lucie Mets (22-25)

GAME ONE

ST LUCIE 3, FORT MEYERS 2 (Box)

In the continuation of a game which was suspended due to rain on May 19th, the St. Lucie Mets were able to pick up a victory behind 3.2 scoreless innings from Joe Zanghi as well as the game winning RBI from Desmond Lindsay in the top of the eight inning.

GAME TWO

ST LUCIE 6, FORT MEYERS 3 (Box)

In the second game of the night, the Mets were able to pick up another W over the Miracle. Gabriel Llanes went six innings giving up just one run on five hits. Dan Rizzie went 4-4 with a RBI while Andres Gimenez went 2-4 with a run, a RBI and a stolen base.

Low-A - Columbia Fireflies (28-24)

ROME 7, COLUMBIA 1 (Box)

Not much went well for Columbia on Friday night as they got ineffective starting pitching and not a lot of offense. Anthony Kay pitched 4.1 innings giving up six runs while also walking four batters. Rigoberto Terrazas drove in the lone Fireflies’ run on the night as the team collected just four hits.
