Since arriving in Flushing, Jose Bautista has been a rare bright spot for the Mets. In his 30 games with the team, Bautista is hitting an impressive .276/.476/.517 (173 wRC+) with two home runs, eight doubles, and 11 RBIs.
Bautista came to the Mets after compiling 333 home runs elsewhere, mostly with the Blue Jays. This makes the veteran one of just 21 players in Mets history with at least 300 home runs and, for this week’s Mind Boggler, we’re asking you to name all 21.
Every Met with at least 300 career home runs
To qualify for this list, the player’s 300 home runs need not all have come with the Mets. In fact, the player could have hit zero home runs with the Mets. As long as he played in at least one official games with the Mets, however, and reached the 300-home-run plateau at some point in his career, the player will make the cut.
You’ll have five minutes for this quiz. Good luck, and remember to post your time and score in the comments!
