For the third installment of this Mind Boggler series, we’re asking you to name every long-tenured Met to wear uniform numbers 20-29. So far, we’ve covered numbers 0-9 and 10-19.
Every long-tenured Met to wear numbers 20-29
To qualify for this list, position players need to have played at least 400 games with the Mets, while pitchers need to have made at least 100 starts or 200 relief appearances with the team. In addition, players need to have met those benchmarks while wearing the uniform number identified here. In other words, a position player who played 50 games while wearing number 5 and 450 while wearing number 10 will be listed as number 10. Finally, players are listed alongside their primary position, which is the one at which they played the most games with the Mets while wearing the uniform number associated with them.
You’ll have six minutes for this quiz. Good luck, and remember to post your time and score in the comments!
