Anthony Kay got the start for Columbia and went 6.2 innings while giving up one run and striking out seven. Catcher Ali Sanchez went 2-3 with a double, home run, and three runs batted in. Carlos Hernandez and Stephen Villines shut down Augusta in relief of Kay to secure the win for the Fireflies.
