Meet the Mets

There will be no starting nod for deGrom in the All-Star Game, as the honor went to Max Scherzer.

As always, deGrom took the news in stride.

Yoenis Cespedes could return as early as Friday, according to Anthony DiComo.

The Wilpons may win an esports championship.

The Athletic continued its series on rebuilding the Mets.

Around the National League East

Fangraphs put together a list of five players who should be traded at the deadline, but probably won’t be.

Yesterday at Amazin’ Avenue

Chris McShane argued that the Mets should sign deGrom to an extension. And David Ortiz emphatically agrees.

Allison McCague brought you player performance meters for pitchers and position players.

Matt Varvaro was back with another Monday Morning Mets Mind Boggler.

Steve Sypa handled the daily prospect report.
