The 2018 Major League Baseball All-Star Game is set to take place, weather permitting, in Washington, D.C. tonight. As far as Mets representation goes, it’s just one player: Jacob deGrom. And while he’s the best pitcher in baseball right now, without question, deGrom will pitch behind Max Scherzer, who is among the best pitchers in the game this season and pitching in his home ballpark.
