Can you name every player in Mets history with an OPS of at least .800 against right-handed pitchers?

Last week, we asked you to name Mets players who hit left-handed pitching exceptionally well. We defined those “lefty killers” as those with an OPS of at least .800 in a minimum of 500 plate appearances against left-handers. Those 500 plate appearances, of course, needed to occur while the player wore a Mets uniform.

For this week’s Mind Boggler, we’re asking you to name the Mets’ “righty killers.” The criteria are the same as they were last week, except that those 500 plate appearances needed to have come against right-handers.

This week’s list is a bit longer and tricker than it was last week. While all of the players listed were either good or great major league hitters—at least for a period of time—not all of them were superstars by any stretch of the imagination. Something else to keep in mind is that, while most of the hitters were left-handed, the list also includes three switch hitters and five pure righties.

You’ll have five minutes for this quiz. Good luck, and remember to post your time and score in the comments!
