How did the Mets’ top prospects perform last week?

With last week behind us, it’s time to check on Amazin’ Avenue’s Top 25 Prospect List, and see how the players have performed. Some of last week’s top performers include David Peterson, who posted two excellent starts on the mound for St. Lucie, Mark Vientos, and Peter Alonso, who went deep twice for Las Vegas. Nabil Crismatt also bounced back nicely from some recent struggles on the mound with a quality start for the 51s, while Christian James put up seven scoreless innings for Brooklyn, one of his best starts of the season. In addition, Desmond Lindsay began his rehab assignment with the GCL Mets last week, and put in a decent showing, picking up six hits in eighteen at-bats.

Because Marcos Molina has been released, he will not be included in the rankings. Instead, PJ Conlon, who was the aggregate 26th prospect when the Top 25 List was compiled, will be included in the last slot.
