Monday Morning Mets Mind Boggler: Two-hole hitters

Can you name every player in Mets history with at least 600 plate appearances in the two-hole?

One of the more interesting trends of the last few years has been the widespread embrace of advanced analytics. This trend is evident in almost every aspect of the game, from bullpen usage to defensive positioning.

Another change that analytics sparked is in lineup construction. Most notably, teams are increasingly hitting their strongest hitters in the two-hole, a spot that was traditionally reserved for contact hitters with little power. For example, Jose Bautista—who certainly does not fit the mold of a classic two-hitter—leads active Mets players in a plate appearances in that lineup spot.
