Triple-A - Las Vegas 51s (69-68)

LAS VEGAS 11, SACRAMENTO 2 (Box)

In their last series of 2018, the 51s easily beat the River Cats. Matt Gage started for Las Vegas and went six innings while allowing just two runs. At the plate, Peter Alonso had a big night, going 4-5 with two home runs and four runs batted in. Zach Borenstein and Colton Plaia also had home runs for Las Vegas as the three players combined to drive in eight out of the twelve Las Vegas runs.

ROSTER ALERT: New York Mets recalled RHP Jacob Rhame from Las Vegas 51s. Las Vegas 51s activated LHP Matt Gage from the temporarily inactive list. Las Vegas 51s placed RHP Kevin McGowan on the temporarily inactive list.

Double-A - Binghamton Rumble Ponies (63-74)

PORTLAND 4, BINGHAMTON 1 (Box)

The Sea Dogs beat the RumblePonies on Friday night. Harol Gonzalez started for Binghamton pitched five innings and allowed four runs on eight hits. At the plate, Jhoan Urena drove in the only Binghamton run as they were limited to just five hits.

Advanced-A - Port St. Lucie Mets (53-76)

JUPITER 4, ST. LUCIE 2 (Box)

The Jupiter Hammerheads beat the St. Lucie Mets on Friday night. Anthony Kay started for St. Lucie and pitched into the fifth inning, allowing two runs (one earned) while striking out five batters. Gabriel Llanes pitched in relief of Kay and went 3.2 innings and allowed two runs. At the plate, Desmond Lindsay and Michael Paez drove in the lone two St. Lucie runs.

Low-A - Columbia Fireflies (50-53)

COLUMBIA 4, AUGUSTA 0 (Box)

The Fireflies beat the GreenJackets in the continuation of a suspended game from late July. Chris Viall started for Columbia and went four innings while striking out five. Yeizo Campos pitched in relief of Viall and threw five shutout innings while striking out four batters. At the plate, Zach Rheams and Scott Manea had big nights for the Fireflies.

Low-A - Columbia Fireflies (63-68)

AUGUSTA 4, COLUMBIA 0 (Box)

The Fireflies fell to the GreenJackets in a shortened seven inning game. Luc Rennie started for Columbia and pitched six innings while giving up all four GreenJackets runs. At the plate, the Firefiles could get nothing going as the team combined for just three hits over seven innings.

A-Short - Brooklyn Cyclones (38-34)

HUDSON VALLEY 4, BROOKLYN 1 (Box)

The Cyclones fell to the Renegades on Friday night. Kyle Wilson started for Brooklyn and gave up all four runs. In relief of Wilson, the Cyclones’ bullpen was able to shut the Renegades down as they had just two hits the rest of the game. At the plate, Dylan Tice drew two walks and scored Brooklyn’s only run of the game.

Rookie: Kingsport Mets (32-31)

ELIZABETHTON 7, KINGSPORT 3 (Box)

The Kingsport Mets were not able to overcome a rough outing of relief from Allan Winans on Friday night. Winans pitched just .2 of an inning but gave up four runs on five hits. Willy Taveras started the game for Kingsport and threw six solid innings of three-run ball. At the plate, Mark Vientos hit a home run while Yoel Romero also drove in a run.
